JAR-OPS Class A Aircraft
Could someone tell me where I can obtain a list of aircraft types that comply or are operated to this standard. I have tried the JAR-OPS document but it's 164 pages and I can't download the pages or browse them rapidly; so I can't tell if it's a performance standard similar to the performance of Australian CAO 20.7.1B(ie transport category aircraft) or limited to weights.
Specificly interested in knowing whether the following aircraft comply
1/ IAI Westwind WW24
2/ Cessna Citation II
3/ IAI Astra( now known as Gulfstream G100)
4/ Beechcraft B350
5/ F27
Thanks for any replies.

The Beech 350 can be Class A or B depending on the number of passenger seats.
The rest are class A.
I guess you've read JAR-OPS 1.470 but if not:
Class A are multi-engined aeroplanes powered by turbopropeller engines with a maximum approved passenger seating configuration of more than 9 or a maximum take-off mass exceeding 5700kg, and all multi-engine turbojet powered aeroplanes.
JAR-OPS 1.480, describing terminology, tells us that the maximum approved passenger seating configuration concerns the idividual aeroplane, not the maximum approved for the type.
Hope this is of some help...
