Airbus Flap setting 1+F

What is this setting on the Airbus Family ? ie in flight you have 1 while on the ground you have 1+ F.

on ground : 1+F
in fight : if you retract the faps from 2 to 1 = 1+F
in flight: if you extend the faps from 0 to 1 = 1

Cofig 1 selected in the air from clean will give you slats in the first position only. Config 1 selection on the ground or from config 2 after take off will give you 1+F which is slats and flaps at the first position.
