Airbus 320 LIM-22-20 AUTOMATIC LANDING
As you know the winter is approching , so i wanted to take a glance at the key points of LVO on the way to lyon today,
I was reading and making up some scenerios with the captain. Then he recomended me not to forget to check the Limitation for autoland in FCOM .
LIM-22-20 AUTOMATIC LANDING
which i have never done before, but it made sooo much sense.
So i checked, and this was what i saw,
AUTOMATIC LANDING
msn: 3896-3949
Automatic Landing is demonstrated :
-
-slope angle within (-2,5 -3.15degrees)
-airport elevation 2500ft
-
-
etc.
So i was surprised.
These a/c can't make an approach to 3.2degree angle or to an airport with an elevation of 3000ft?
It says demonstrated ? but its in the limitation? so i had a doubt about if we take it as a limitation?
What do you think?

Yes i am sure.
I also checked the other A320s belonging to my company.
there are ones with 9200' , 6500ft', 5750' as well.
So it differs according to msn number.
