C208B Cessna Caravan question : anticycle switch

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know what the "anticycle switch" on the C208B is ? It is connected to the hot battery bus but I can't find any information concerning it.

Thanks

Hi! Skipper from Susi here. Mystery solved! A flux refers to the magnetic field in the generator. The anticycle switch basically helps to stabilize this flux/residual flux when cycling the generator on and off frequently by using time to it's advantage. Assuming it's connected to the hot battery bus to be able to operate and deal with this flux when receiving no generator current.
