Hi I wish this email finds you in good health
i have two Q ?
1- Whay not direct law after gear down in abnormal att law same as alternate law ?
2- Whay we but gear down after F 1 in HYD G+B failure, And gear down after F 3 in G+Y failure.
i hope som help me in this and thank's.

G+B Failure
Extend the landing gear at 200 kt to revert
sooner in direct law. This provides, below 200 kt
, a better pitch control than in alternate law with
one elevator lost and all slats lost.
G+Y Failure
Being stabilized at VAPP, before
selecting the gear down, enables the aircraft to
be trimmed for approach.
Both notes are in the QRH and ABN PRO 29.
