How can you check which database version is currently installed on an A320 EGPWS?

Is it a honeywell one? extended test will tell you.

Press test button, press again within 10 sec to go extended, press again and it will read part no, serial number database etc

Easier to use the CFDS surely?

CFDS>NAVIGATION>EGPWC>LRU IDENT

You can print a nice copy too. Saves having to do the test 3 times as you missed a number.
