KLAX speed restriction.
In KLAX AOI.
Stated that "MAX IAS 200KT underneath class B airspace"
I confuse the term "underneath".
Given class B airspace is between 5000' and 10000'.
To comply with the above restriction, do we have to fly MAX IAS 200kt below 5000' or between 5000' and 10000'?

Humhum,
If class B is between 5000 ft and 10000ft,and you must be max 200kts UNDERneath then.......speed restriction is applicable UNDER/BELOW 5000 ft.
At 6000 ft youd be IN not UNDERneath class B.
ICAO4?

Back when class B was known as tCA's and the depiction was as an upside down wedding cake, we said:
the airspeed restriction below the LATERAL LIMITS of the TCA was 200kias. Having gone into KMDW in the 737 shortly after the increased speeds required to protect against rudder hardover, we would frequently fly for many miles with flaps down (partially)...it stinks...but we obey the rules!

Why the flaps down?
