fuel gage accurancy

I need help ....
.according the boeing manual ( B737 ) the drip stick reading has the accurancy of 2% .....

what is the accurancy of the fuel tank gages ????
I knew about the 2-3 % ..but right now I can not find any doc regarding ...

.....and I've been taught that F.gauges are reliable only when empty. But i fly C-152's
