Airbus 320 Quick Fuel Check at Despatch

I am trying to find a quick method how to cross check flight plan fuel at flight despatch for a gross error check.

Any input on the matter would be greatly appreciated

Fuel check

Andy24. I think this is what you are looking for.
Multiply the flight time in minutes by 40. This will give you a quick ball park figure of your flight burn.
EG : time 4h 37 min (or 277 mins) times 40 = 11080 kg. Should be close.

I use the 40 kg per flight minute, adding a 10% if the airplane is heavy, and adding approx perf factor, too.

It is pretty accurare as a gross error check and I do it every flight

I use 47/min + taxi A320, 51/min + taxi for a normally loaded A321, just a gross error check.

I do the same as Microburst. Accurate enough for the purpose.
