Question Wireless headsets for Cabin Crew

Are there any products in-use ( or in development ) that let Cabin Crew communicate using wireless headsets? The one-ear models are pretty small and non-obtrusive.

When the PAX-call buttons get pressed and the dings sound all night on a trans-Atlantic leg I often wonder. Wouldn't this also be of some use for Cabin Crew to communicate with each other while spread out over multiple cabins. Especially in emergencies etc.

With Wi-fi rollouts on fleets the technology to make this possible should be within reach, I suppose? The basic question is whether there would be a need for such a product or not really. What problems do people foresee?

Making sure the headset batteries are always charged could be a problem.Cabled systems with handsets always more reliable than wireless too.
