RNAV Procedure inthe onboard GNSS/ FMS Systems

Hi All,

Looking for the right ICAO rule stating that in order to fly RNAV approach, STAR or Departure, that procedure has to be in the on board
navigational system data base. One can't just fly RNAV procedure unless that full procedure is set in the computer and cannot be selected, for example by clicking in the waypoints manually.

Any ideas where it's written?

Thanks!

It's in the PBN manual along with others. You would also need to confirm with your National Aviation Authority policy as they may differ.
