Difference between the 2 ELEC emergency config

Going through the manual (a320) I realize there is the elec emergency config when you lose both AC bus 1 and AC bus 2.
I understand this.

However in the smoke in avionics compartment, once you switch the GEN1 line PB switch, you are cutting off the AC bus 1 from gen 1, except that 1 fuel pump on each wing will still run.
Now generator 2 is supplying AC bus 1 and AC bus 2.
I assume you are still not in emergency elec config here, until you cut that off as well, is this correct?

Can somebody please further explain this to me, and the differences, etc?
Thank you, and sorry for the horrible English.

Correct. You only enter the electrical emergency configuration when you de-select GEN 2.
