Question about Time on Type

Dear colleagues,

Reagarding time on type where does time you've logged on the Sim to get your TR goes? Are you supposed to add it to actual line flying?

My question is related to minimum requirements for some company. If they ask for a minimum of 500 hours on type should you count with your sim time?

Thanks in advance.

I would not count it. Just like I would not count it when someone asks for total time. Just write ***h on Type, ***h in Sim - they can give you credit for it if they choose to.

Sim time.

Simulator time is different from A/C time and that is why your log book has two different places for the Sim and the A/C time.

Clue's in the name. Time on type - the simulator isn't a type, it only represents a type.
