That's amazing! Thanks for sharing the link.
I notice that there is a Dell laptop computer on the rear port side of the flight deck. Must be so that they can check F@cebook

Try this!

Last Atlantis flight - 50 minutes after undocking and final separation, overflew Adelaide, Australia.

5 second DSLR exposures.

Dean, Having never seen in personally, at 28 seconds, is that the Southern Cross? Good capture by the way. Many years back, we had Soyuz, MIR and the Shuttle pass overhead in close orbit to each other. Just like you shot, but add one.

Well spotted!

Yes, it is Crux, the Southern Cross - I had to ask nicely to get them to do that!

What was *really* umexpected (and spectacular), was the halo
of RCS exhaust gas residue surrounding the ISS. Without any
atmosphere to dissapate it, it had persisted after the Atlantis
inspection fly-around.

Due to cost-cutting, the following features were not included: Throttles and the FO's seat cushion.

Very interesting indeed but how do the flight crew get in there as the flight deck appears totally enclosed with instrumentation.

Entry hatch is on the mid-deck

The mid-deck is below the flight deck and is where the crew enters and the shuttle....yes, I had to look that up...
