Interesting, thanks for the link.

The article said it was deteriorating and at risk of collapse anyway.

But yeah, I agree, the U.S. military can degrade (or simply shut down) the entire GPS system at will and where would that leave us?

Still, I don't imagine there are many more LORAN receivers out there. I haven't used LORAN since about 1996.
