Double or single taxiway edge markings

Hi all,

I have recently been pointed out that there is a difference between single or double taxiway edge markings. Apparently it has to do with clearance, if you have a double taxiway edge marking you can follow the centerline with your nose wheel if not, you have to over steer( mainly applicable for wide body airplanes).

Can somebody provide me with some official documentation on this subject?

Thanks in advance
