How to Airbus sidestick

Hi, I'd like to know if anyone knows (with a reference) about how to hold the sidestick correctly. Like where you should put your thumb on, or should your palm rest on the bottom of the sidestick, etc. So far i just use the method my instructors told me, and each one of them are different.

Touch it like you would another mans ****, i.e. as little as possible.
