Pitot-static head

Hi,

I am currently conducting a research on the reliability improvement on several aircraft components. One of them is the pitot-static tube, which suffers from heater/ corrosion failure. Now, for the aircraft - Fokker 50 - I have an idea about the expected lifetime. But I was wondering if anyone could help me in getting more information on the expected lifetime of pitot tubes on other aircraft eg. A320, B737,...

Many thx!

Cool

They are 'on condition' as far as I am aware, they are inspected at certain checks and are replaced when required or when a heater element fails.
