Anyone with experience on derated thrust A320

Hi fellows,
Looking for anyone who has operated on A320 using the "derated thrust" option. To specify, I am not talking about FLX TO, but about derated CLB THR options "D1" and "D2", as it is being used on A330s (and I used to, but never on A320).
I would like to know:
What were your limiting weights to switch from "D1" to "D2"?
Do you recall any positive impact on reduction of cabin noise?
Any other points worth mentioning?

Thx for your help!
PUH
