Ground Vibration Issues
Hi all,
I am conducting research at the University of Bristol into pilot perception of unacceptable vibration experienced when the a/c is in contact with the ground.
Apparently there have been flight crew reports describing vibration in excess of that deemed technically acceptable in certain scenarios (e.g. water on the runway) and locations (e.g. notoriously bad runways - san fran / singapore etc). Engineering claims that these oscillations are in bounds.
Please could you share with me details of any problems you have encountered of this nature.
