Engine Out SID Manchester 05L
Can anyone post a description of the emergency turn procedure that needs to be followed in the event of an engine failure on take off from MAN rwy 05L please? It does not have to be aircraft specific.
Many thanks.

Each airline will have their own EO SID designed by the airline, therefore they will all be different. ATC will not know what each airline's EO SID is. It is important to tell ATC in the event of an engine failure what profile you are going to fly.

Emergency turns are airline specific ,though some airlines have specially commissioned charts for them and include them in the fms database. At Manchester you would probably want a couple of miles to sort out the failure then a turn away from the high ground towards a hold (mirsi) or downwind..
