Boeing - Probes Lights not illum. on GND/Eng Sht dwn
Hi all,
I have experienced a similar problem twice within a week. Once on 767 (TAT) and once on 757 (F/O PITOT + R AUX PITOT).
During preflight, (on GND and Eng shutdown... ) F/O PITOT and R AUX PITOT lights (overhead panel) not illuminated. No EICAS message except PROBE HEAT which is normal on GND with Engine Shutdown.
Probe heaters verified and ok by maintenance.
Do you GO?
MEL 30.31.02
Thanks

Non-ER?
Cannot assist with 75/76 but on the 737 (different MEL ref) dispatch would not be allowed if icing is forecast, which it generally is every day somewhere on a route. It would be a rare day in these 'ere parts to not have it forecast. I guess there would need to be no medium/high cloud. Let a manager pilot fly it, I say
