A320 IAE G/A Perf

This is a approach flap 3 vs flap full question leading to flap 2/3 on the G/A. It is also a question for the biggest nerds out there

On most of our fleet is you want the best go around performance then Flap 3 is the way to go, except our A320's fitted with IAE V2527-A5.

On this particular fleet, our performance manual shows you can execute a G/A at a higher weight with flap full going to flap 3 during the missed approach. Now we operate most of the narrowbody series and this is peculiar to the A320, with IAE's.

Now I have a theory, sorry guess, but anyone know why?

(probably the same reason our perf computer throws Flap 3 for departing a 4km runway on these...)
