dual genfailure
how does dual generator failure occur? There has been an incident of dual generator failure on a Dornier-228 under IMC condition. The backup batteries which were supposed to last for 30mins unfortunately did not causing all instrument failure, keeping in mind there are no extensive standby instruments to fly this aircraft. The aircraft went into "unusual attitude" spiraled to the ground killing all on board.
