French State Minima

A previous airline had an aid memoire that stated when performing a low vis approach into a French airfield the midpoint RVR had to be the same as or greater than the touchdown RVR.

Can anyone tell me if this is still true and more importantly where I can find this info. I have already looked at the Jar-ops but couldn't find anything.

Ta.

French airlines comply with JAR and EU-OPS, there is only one slight difference: you can't perform a cat II approach if the touch down transmitter is U/S. But as it is a state policy, it's the responsability of the airport authority to degrade the approach to cat I, by NOTAM.
Regarding your post, it should be a company restriction, French airlines love that!
