hHt operations

Hy everybody,

I was discussing with some collegues of mine concerning the operations of aircrafts from middle-east airlines, such as Qatar Airways Emirates or Ethiad. I would be pleased to ask you guys one thing.
Do you think that the aircrafts of these airlines, which are based in so hot places, have a shorter life period due to these big change of temperatures between gnd and flt?
I think that such high temperatures are really a bad thing for airliners. Overall if they stay on the gnd for 4-5 hrs under the sun with a kind of 55-60 degrees celsius over them..
Thanx in advance for all your replies!

Cool

a/c spend more time in the air where it's -50 than they do on the ground. In 24hr an EK a/c may spend 2hrs on the ground in DXB. 2 hrs in JFK in the winter where it'll be below 0.

The high temperature desert air is dry, which precludes corrosion.

That's why in USA 1000s of jets [military and civilian] are stored at places like Marana, Arizona, and Mojave, California.

Dreamer. You have obviously not worked in DOH/KWI/DXB/BHA. Try close to 100% humidity in 35-50C.
