Boeing 767 CLIM

Hi there, sorry if this has already been asked but please could someone explain what happens if the 767 CLIM is negative after adding the left-offset? What is the purpose of CLIM?
Many thanks.

Hi Redwingaviationman,

many thanks for your reply, but my system already calculates the CLIM. I just need to understand why it is needed and what it actually does.

All the best
