cockpit invasion safety

Hello all
I know every pilot [including me] are worried about the possibility of an aircraft hijack and a flight deck invasion. Surely the airlines would make it so the flight decks door would be unbreakable.
Could somebody please inform me of what the door is made of [on larger aircraft] and if it is enforced?
thanks
