Fuel freezing point measurement

Hi everyone !

I have been reading this forum for a long time now and here is the day I post my first questions !

This is about a very interesting article published by Boeing about Polar route operations (http://777cheatsheets.com/resources/Safety_Polar_Route_Operations.pdf). The part about cold fuel management mentions a procedure for estimating the freezing points of blends of Jet A and Jet A-1 without describing it.

Do you have more idetails about this procedure ? How long does it take normally, I mean, can this procedure be applied after each fuel uplift without delaying the flight ? Is it applied to each fuel tank or only to the most critical fuel tanks (i.e. outer tanks) ?

Thank you very much for you answers !
