a320 fuel required fmgc calculation. Help
Hi mates:
I was geting introduced to fmc's world by using faros a320 fmgc simulator but it seems i got stuck in the fuel issue. I was wondering how (if it is possible) can I get automatic fuel required calculations. I always proceed by filling all pages (F. Plan with SID'S and STAR's, performance page, init with cruise altitude and cost index etc.) but I always end up by manually filling the ZFW and Block fuel in INIT B page.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance!!!

When you get to INIT B, enter the ZFW and Trip Wind. Do Not enter Block Fuel, instead Line select FUEL PLANNING (3R) .. FMGC will do the calculation for you.
If your FMGC simulator does not have FUEL PLANNING .... well you can't do it!

The ZFW and CG you have to insert manually. Once done, this should give a prompt for calculating the block fuel. Not sure if all the versions (older ones) do have this feature though!
Make sure that all the info is inserted correctly, otherwise it will give an incorrect figure.
