A320 Turbulence Margin to VLS / MMO
Hey
What does airbus recommend when it comes to turbulence margin to VLS and MMO during cruise? How much margin should I use?

Hi Founder,
the margin is definitely matched by flying at or below the turbulence penetration speed:
A319/A320 below 20.000 ft = 250 KIAS
// at or above 20.000 ft = 275 KIAS/M 0.76
A321 below 20.000 ft = 270 KIAS
// at or above 20.000 ft = 300 KIAS/M 0.76
You'll find supplementary techniques for "Adverse Weather" in the QRH 3.04.91 from pp. 1 to pp. 5.

I think I was a bit unclear about my question, I was not after the speed for penetrating turbulence... I'm more after the speed margin to VLS with regards to altitude.
For example, flying att FL330, OPT ALT is FL330, MAX REC 355. You'll have a margin of about 10-15 knots with a heavy A321 to VLS and about the same up to MMO.
Are these 10-15 knots enough or should there be more??
