Post Airbus Feeding Segregation

Hello everyone,
have a little doubt about the feeding segregation for A319/A320/A321:
in brief, wing tanks are always feeding after SLAT extension, so takeoff on wing tanks only ... is that to prevent IDG fuel return to overfill the wing tanks or anything else now not comin' to my mind ??!

Thanks a million,
fredgrav
