Yes it will until you move the flaps. Why? God only knows, or some technocrat at Boeing. B757/767 kept life simple and made a G/A the same as any takeoff. Easy. Then some clown decided to tie the speed bug to the flaps instead of the MCP speed bug. Daft. How to make a difficult job more difficult.

" To save me checking the manuals" .. with that attitude I would'nt even bother to go to the sim.. god help us all.. I assume that was a quip.
So the interview question is: Describe the function of the TOGA switch:
Guys, they will EXPECT you to know this stuff, it's all in the books.
Ground Track,
Speed
Climb Rate
FD Pitch Command
Power. Full or Reduced
Min Speed Commanded
Autopilot Disconnect Scenarios ( Dual vs Single) channel
The only difference between you and the next guy might just be your tech knowledge as the CAA say to us on a regular basis: " Knowledge is the responsibilty of the student, understanding is the responsibilty of the instructor"
If you are not typed, they won't expect too much in the sim, gradual improvement and the capacity to learn
