30 degree angle of the gyroscope in an TC.

Hi again.

I had a little question about the Turn Coordinator. In figures i saw that the TC uses a vertical gyroscope but the spin axis is tilted about 30 degrees upwards. Why? The explenation is that now both yaw as roll can be measured. But what is the difference in presentation on the TC screen compared by the "old" turn and bank indicator. What are the advantages?

Thanks

Lars
