Does anyone know this issue?

I see some airlines carry both techlog books on board that one for official duty and another one for VIP flight only. And of course the official techlog always contains all recorded from VIP one. Is this illegal or not?

Not that I know of.
I've flown in the Air Force, on the biggest fractional buisness jet company and know on a flag comercial company.

But, perhaps it's different of other parts of the world.
