Flightplans for IFR Circuits

Hi all,

I was just wondering if anybody could help me, I have a question about filing flightplans for IFR circuits at aerodromes.

In the route part, is there an abbreviation that can be put or even word, or does it have to be something like this: (an example that I have found for London Stansted EGSS): N0242F040 DCT BKY DCT BUSTA DCT

Thanks!

Unless a flight plan is required by the authority, it will be easier to phone ATC with your details instead.

Exactly. The telephone works wonders.... the controllers will really appreciate it. You can discuss what you'd like to do, variations, approaches, let them know you'll take a hold or a long taxi back for their workload.

Forget filing.
