777/200LR PFD CAS jump
Hello,
Synopsys:
PFD CAS jump when Capt ALTN DSPL CTRL sw is pushed on -200LR
Please try this in the real thing, not in the box since I know already the outcome.
Procedure:
Background: There is a discrepency in the indication for the relight enveloppe and I suspect an AIMS bug.
Thanks.

Procedure:
- Ensure all ALTN DSPL sws are in normal mode (Captain, F/O and EICAS).
- Ensure Engine Secondary page is displayed on the Lower center display.
- Ensure aircraft is flying
- Press the Captain ALTN DSPL CTRL switch and check that the Captain PFD speed tape jumps 10 kts and filter down to the proper airspeed in about 8 sec
Background: There is a discrepency in the indication for the relight enveloppe and I suspect an AIMS bug.
Thanks.

Problem confirmed.
Fellow pilots,
We ve isolated the problem and Boeing issued a Service Bulletin in December. The SB talks about side effects of this problem, engine relight.
The bottom line is that the Xbleed indication does not appear when she's supposed to. Problem occurs between 263 and 270 kts.
Happy landings.
