Angry Scott Leather flight bag

A warning to anyone who might consider buying a wheeled Scott Leather flight bag. They don't fit the bag stowage in the Airbus family of aircraft (certainly the 340/330/320 but I can't talk for the 380)! The wheels are so big and stick out so far that the front of the bag hangs over the edge of the tray. This means the bag falls against the side of the seat, sits underneath the arm rest and gets jammed up when you motor the seat.

Big shame as it is far from cheap!

The unwheeled bags are fine but the wheel system that came with mine is riveted in place so I can't remove it when I get to the flight deck.

I understand that the guy who runs the company is a Boeing pilot, a shame that he doesn't have any Airbus mates!

Did you call them back and ask for an exchange...I've found the quality and service great. Scott is a former Rep/NWA pilot. He has a lot of Airbus friends. Have a Scott bag with me on the 330
