HS125 Engines

Behind an HS125 biz jet at a holding point, it appeared that the engines were slightly canted in so that their thrust lines would converge behind the aircraft.

Was it real or just an illusion?

If it was real, what would the benefits be - less yaw after engine failure - and do other aircraft do, but it is less obvious?
