EMB190 Landing Lights
Something I've noticed while in cruise one night in cloud.
It seems that the landing lights and the side taxi lights do not work during cruise.
I have looked in the AOM and nothing.. maybe embraer considers it irrelevant and left it out of the Manual or maybe they are working and I didn't look outside hard enough.
can someone clear this up for me please?
where is FE_hoppy when u need him.

The only mention of inhibits in the manufacturers technical descriptions is the nose landing and taxi lights which require the nose leg to be locked down. I will have a word with a friendly Brazilian tomorrow and see if there is something we don't know.
as to where i am, Singapore for a few more days.
EDIT 12/6/09
The man from Brazil he say no.
There is no altitude inhibit in the extenal lights system.
