Devil How to set LRC on Airbus family?

Guys, I am new in Airbus family (new captain including) and there is a confusion in my airline when talking about LRC settings. As far as I could verify, when you are single engine and on LRC ceiling you have to select speed for LRC (FCOM 3.06.30 pages 4 to 11) without changing the cost index right? And when you are diverting to another airfield you change the CI in accordance to FCOM 4.05.50 page 14 leaving all the performance computation by the FMGS including speeds right? Thank you!

First part, I agree.

Second part, I don't.
FCOM 4.05.50 is all engine related, so the CI you find there (and you can find it in your company QRH also, usually ch. 4 page 11, tailored to your engines) is normal cruise related, not single engine.
Hope this helps.

It was exactly what I tried to say. Maybe I was not clear. I have mentioned 2 different situations.
a) Single engine, LRC ceiling and selected SPEED (no modification at previous CI)
b) All engines, diverting (because of weather) and LRC Cost Index in accordance to FCOM (speed managed)

So, as far as I can understand I am right. Very good news!

Thank you pal
