Oxygen indication in cockpit DASH 8-400

Hi,

I have a question to DH8 pilots/technicians...
Is there an indication of oxygen behind the pilots seat?
How does this work?
What happens (or what does it mean) when the "indicator" turns to red iso green?
If at FL200 how long can the aircraft maintain this level before needing descend?

Thanks for the info...

Greetings
BM

Main oxygen pressure gauge on Q400 is on the RH side of the cockpit, beside the F/Os leg. Red/green indicator you are referring to is actually pressure indicator on oxygen mask's hose. Green means enough pressure, red - not. If it turns red, check that hose is connected well. If it is, you're out of oxygen.

As highest GMORA on our route structure is FL126, I've never bothered to calculate how long will the oxygen last at FL200. AOM's statement that min dispatch oxy is enough for four minute descent to FL140 and 116 mins @ FL140 is good enough for me.

Not forgetting the second gauge on the oxygen bottle it's self + the blow out disc. If all 3 flow indicators show red on the first flight of the day check someone hasn't switched the bottle off!! I wish I could say I've never seen it...
