CI CF etc

Could anyone tell me how CI CF FF on Precision & Non Precision approaches in the FMS are DEFINED (without me having to fork out $249 for the ARINC 424 doc)?

P.S. The useful link on the nd320 thread doesn't seem to cover the info I'm looking for

I guess you're looking for abbreviation conventions for approaches in the FM(G)S. Sometimes these abbreviations can also be found on the approach chart itself.

Many thanks for the lead. More or less what I was looking for, but the answers are not as clear-cut as I'd have hoped. And how about this from one of the responders:

"Also note that the database programmers do not always follow this convention"!
