hi,

A quick question:

Is AP mandatory to fly in NAT MNPS airspace as part of the equipment?

Not for lateral guidence, but it IS requires for RVSM, which NATS is above FL280.

Correct, RVSM airspace FL290-FL410 requires a functioning A/P.

Like the previous posters wrote, if you are in MNPS airspace but above or below RVSM airspace, no need for AP.
