NEI-CSFF B737 and Dried Deicing Fluid
I looking for photos and reports of CSFF/NEI and Dried Deicing fluid on the B737 for a paper.
Ever had it on a short flight?
Any associated info, wx, fuel load, etc?
Ever on a -300, -500?
Resources?
Rehydration of dried fluid effecting controls in flight?
Photos?
ETC?
PM me.
Thanks
RS

I have only ever seen 'liquid' de-ice fluid (Type II/IV) on the rear wing sections after 3 hrs plus airborne, never 'dried'.
Not sure what you seek regarding CSFF? Are you linking the 2 queries or are they separate?

Seperate
I should have made a seperate thread for each.
Boeing published an article on dried deicing fluid in 2007 but I would like some additional info and photos.

cleaning
Does your company follow the prescibed cleaning procedures outlined by Boeing?
I think there is still much to be learned about dried deicing fluid and they are collecting data. Do you know of any instances where controls were affected?

I would appreciate any photos of the dry film and especially the rehydrated gel.
