A320 vs B737-800W Burn Rate?

Hi all,
What's the typical burn rate for A320 and B737-800W?
Both airplanes have max payload and also MTOW...
A320: 77T
B738W: 79T

Of Course the burn rate will be smaller as longer you have flown, but a typical
total burn rate

Hello...

on the A320....you can say it burn around 2000 kgs from engine start till top of climb ( say 10 mins taxi <<200kgs>> with no delay to line up and take off) and TOC at FL 350.

during the cruise ....it burn approx 45kg a min for both engine....around 2700kg an hour.

the max rate off burn that i have seen was 50kg a min for both engine = 3000kg an hour.

on average you can say it burn 40kg a min for both engines = 2400kg an hour.

and the min i saw was 33kg a min for both engines = 1980kg an hour.

Regards

Robini,

On a typical GOT-TFS/LPA flight the numbers could look like this:

B737-800W:
DOM 42.4 + payload (189pax) 16.9 = ZFM 59.3
Final Reserve 0:30 1190kg
Alternate 0:26 1190kg
Trip 5:13 13690kg

A320-200:
DOM 43.4 + payload (177pax) 15.8 = ZFM 59.2
Final Reserve 0:30 1180kg
Alternate 0:24 1090kg
Trip 5:08 13280kg
