Wake turbulence category

Hi all, I was having a rather interesting discussion with a captain the other day concerning wake turbulence seperation and im trying to find some information, preferebly links to FAA, CAA and ICAO websites concerning the wake category seperation of aircraft ie. weights for light, medium and heavy (preferebly weights in pounds). I did some searching, but didnt find quite what I was looking for.
