Tailstrike limits ATR 42-500 & ATR 72-500
Hello,
Just tried to look this up to no avail.
Any 42 and 72 folks care to tell me what the limits for tailstrike are on t/o and ldg on the above two types.
Thanks a bunch,

These aircraft are the two that I flew for a 'retirement job' a while back. I didn't like them much at first, but really did tame the 42 after a while.
On the 42, with the main wheels on the ground, I gathered that you would about halve the daylight under the dorsal aerial with 7deg nose up on the display. This was tested in perfect conditions.
The 72 had to be treated with a lot more respect when considering a tail-strike, but really was capable of a slower than published landing in an emergency.
See "Forward on that yoke boy!" a short while back.
