Hi
After getting a print of the load report (number 15 from the list of MAN REQ REPORTS) from AIDS...you need to look at the bottom of the report for VRTA which is the virtual rate of decsend at touch down given in g value
look for the one corresponding to S3..you will also have longitudinal acceleration LONA and lateral acceleratio LATA...it will loo something like this
MAX/MIN 1 TO 3 SEC INTERVAL
VRTA LONA LATA
S3 0116 0005 N002
S4 0088 N000 N008
It is said that the value indicating the smootheness (for a want of a better word) of the landing is the S3 VRTA (0116 here) i.e 1.16g which is smooth enough indeed
hope that helps

Load report > REPORT 15< is printed automatically in case of VRTG exceeding during landing. Manually requested report can’t be used for hard landing confirmation. Description of load report is in AMM.

Hi
The meaning is that you were late asking for the load report and the sysem reset itself for the next sector.
since no parameters were exceeded, the system resets itself after a time interval.which i do not know precisely...therefore, if want to have those values, i would ask for the report while the printer is still printing out the post flight report
regards

How do you interpret all these other values of the load report :
I now understand what S3 VRTA means, but do all the other values mean ?
VALUES AT 1 SEC BEFORE LAND/EVENT
RALT RALR PTCH PTCR ROLL ROLR YAW
S1 0002 -009 0045 -007 0015 0003 0000
VALUES AT LAND/EVENT
S2 0001 -015 0043 0000 0016 -001 0000
MAX/MIN 1 SEC TO 3 SEC INTERVAL
VRTA LONA LATA
S3 0121 0004 0000
S4 0079 -006 -004
What other useful reports can we get from the AIDS ?
Can we also get :
- touchdown point / touchdown zone
- threshold crossing height
- centreline tracking / LLZ deviation
- exceedance of any company speed limits / rates of descent
- take-off rotation rate
- anything else ??
I am aware our company monitors all the above but how can we check it ourselves ?
