A380 Grounding.

Noticed this giveaway line in an article referring to the cancellation of A380 services by Emirates, it could be some simple teething problem as experienced by a lot of new aircraft entering service but rumor round the bazaars indicates an electrical fire of some sort.
Maybe someone knowledgeable can give more information and help dispel rumor.
“The flight crew noticed the unspecified problem while the aircraft was on the ground in Dubai, where it remains”.

Many thanks for the referral to the ME forum. As usual no real information or reliable technical detail. It seems fortunately to have been a ground event rather than in flight. We shall see if the detail becomes available.
